Discover Our New Judo Philosophy Collection
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Judo Philosophy Collection page.
Judo is more than a sport decided by wins and losses. Beyond matches, it becomes a lifelong discipline, a way to develop both character and spirit.
At the heart of this path are Jigoro Kano’s two guiding principles: Seiryoku Zenyo (精力善用), using one’s energy wisely for good, and Jita Kyoei (自他共栄), growing and prospering together through mutual respect and support.
As a Japanese judoka myself, I created this collection to bring these principles closer to judoka around the world. Each piece is handcrafted in Japan, from the original calligraphy to the finished kakemono scroll.
This collection is for judoka who continue to walk the path of Judo throughout life, and who wish to keep Jigoro Kano’s philosophy close in their home or dojo.
More than decoration, I hope these kakemono scrolls will become your “Silent Teacher,” always by your side throughout your journey in Judo.
